Even SKATEDAILY got up on our behalf the day of the premiere, it was posted at 6:06 pm on 6-6-06, creepy, eh?

Here is the skatedaily news item:

"Tuesday June 6, 2006 : 06:06 PM
Name This Video Premiere

The dudes behind Name This Video will have a world premiere for their namesake and soon-to-be-named film on this eve of the number of the beast, 06.06.06 in Campbell, CA. Following the hours of cinemeatic excitement, stewed celebration, and marvelous mayhem, some lucky winner will be the proud owner of a new Century Optics .3X death lens for their brilliant title submission of the “to be named” NTV flick.

Details to emerge soon."

Speaking of weird numerological coincidence, we netted exactly $666.00 on the door sales...good thing I don't believe in superstition...

THANKS AGAIN TO EVERYONE WHO MADE IT OUT TO THE WORLD PREMIERE

It was everything we hoped it would be and more, all the effort and work it took for us to complete this project was well worth it once we saw how appreciated it was

As you heard from my drunk ass when I saw you on Tuesday, 6-6-06, it really means alot to me to whoever made it out for the premiere

Word on the street was that it was the party of the year, King's Head hasn't blown up like that in a long time, and they are super psyched on having us come back

What say we do skate vids like ONCE A MONTH at King's Head? Are you down?
Hit me back if you would attend something like that on a regular basis

The music was amazing, thanks to As Is for holding it down and bringing talent with him, Mike Parot from Tampa to rep% the east with 6-6-6 demon assault jungle (where was I when he was spinning? too faded to recall...)

How about the Circa vid? I dunno, I was outside bullshittin' with Nick Matlin, havent seen him in a coon's age...

Other than that, I hear our video "exceeded expectations" so that sounds awesome and let's hope ya'll buy one at your skate shop so we can keep doing this

Thanks again to everyone for an unforgettable night...hope you enjoyed the skate vid, more fun to come, stay tuned...

In humble thanks,

Paul & Kyle

how do you like them apples?

Looks as though the Gaslighter theatre croaked it's last tune and sold out last week
to become a pretentious "ultra lounge", so we decided to deny them the opportunity to host the party of the year, instead bestowing the honor to the King's Head pub in downtown Campbell.

Same bat time, only new location, King's Head, comprende'?

KSCU Radio Invasion and takeover tonight at midnight!

I don't know about ya'll, but all I listen to is college radio, and my favorite station, KSCU 103.3 fm (the underground sound) is allowing me to come down and co-host for an INCREDIBLE 9 HOUR BLOCK 12am-9am slot. I will also be playing music that will be featured in the soon-to-be-named DVD feature,(out June 6th,) and probably rudely awaken a few people involved in the video for impromptu interviews...should be a hoot

Skateboard Video Premiere!!! No, not ours, namethisvideo premieres coming soon, TONIGHT is the west coast premiere of the Westside Skateshop video "The Good Life"
Directed by Joe Perrin.

Tonight, Jan 8th at Madrone Lounge in San Francisco
"The Good Life" Video Premiere presented by Westside Skateshop
8 PM - 12 AM, Free Admission, 21 & over w/ ID please
500 Divisadero @ Fell

The Good Life is the follow up to the underground hit Dango from Westside Skateshop. It is basically a mockery of the term the good life, as it shows a life far from what most people would describe as glamorous. But this theme doesnt consume the viewer because after all, it is a skate video, and the skating and personalities of the featured skaters is what really shines through.
It is raw and gritty street skating at its best, combined with humor and irony, and it does all this while subtly serving the reminder that The Good Life can be your life, because it is a term that you define for yourself.
Featured skaters include: John Buchanan, Jimmy Lannon, Danny Renaud, Nick Matlin, Phil Ladjanski, Ryan Nix, Jon Newport, 80's Joe Staley, John Montesi, Josh Dowd, Mike Rosa, Richie Zuczek, and many more. Produced by John Montesi for Westside Skateshop.

No, that doesn't mean we have successfully ousted our chimp of a president, it means the infamous "Bush skit" planned for many moons is finally finished...the concept goes like this: photographers hate filmers b/c they are always jockeying for position and the filmer gets in the way of the photographer and vice versa...resoution?
